MONICA LYNN, RE-HOMING COORDINATOR ESTHER’S ARMY
Monica has worn many hats over the years, including that of optician, dive shop manager, and writer/photographer. She spent years involved in feral cat rescue in her home state of Ohio before discovering Esther on Facebook. After witnessing the power of Esther’s Army in action, she was moved to do more for farmed animals. She was amazed at how much more could be accomplished and how many more lives could be saved when individuals and sanctuaries work together in a spirit of love and cooperation. So, when Derek invited her to join the EA team in 2015, she didn’t hesitate to take on a larger role in this army of Compassionate Action.
PAT LAWRENCE, SOCIAL MEDIA VOLUNTEER
Pat first became acquainted with Esther The Wonder Pig a few years ago after she finally bought her first smartphone and became more active on Facebook! A cousin was sharing Esther’s posts which got Pat curious about who this pig was and why she was living in a house with two dogs, two cats and two dads! Pat found Esther’s homepage, read everything she could find about this family and immediately fell wholeheartedly in love with them. Esther and her dads have changed Pat’s life in more ways than they will ever know and she is thrilled to be a part of this crazy adventure.
ERIN DASILVA, SOCIAL MEDIA VOLUNTEER
Erin has enjoyed a life-long love of animals. As a child she even had goat and chicken friends! In her teens, Erin realized that she really couldn't say she loved animals in one breath and eat them in the next. It took a couple of tries but by the age of 18, Erin was a vegetarian and by the time she was 42 she was fully Esther Approved! Erin joined Esther’s team in 2014 and considers it an honour to help spread the message of peace and love on Esther’s social media pages.
